The Elfintree, known in Elven tongue as "Yanwë Olorëaldo" or the "Bridge of the Dreaming Tree", was the largest and oldest tree in the known world. Considered a holy place to many Fey-descended communities, the Tree was also the largest known Fey Crossroad, where Elf scholars made pilgrimages to the Vivid Realms and stewarded fey creatures journeying to the Material Realm.
The Elfintree was warded by the Archmages and Archdruids of Ardhon Miniel, who maintained a small settlement at the tree's base, dedicated to its stewardship. For centuries, these Spellcasters maintained a variety of abjurative structures in the trunk, designed to regulate the fey crossing and ensure that powerful interlopers from the Feywild were kept at bay.
