Dire Tiger

Dire tigers were a monstrous variety of the mundane species of Tiger. They were giant cats with a pair of 6-inch fangs jutting from their powerful jaws, and were equipped with bone-like protrusions spiking from their back. They could grow over 12 feet long and up to 6000 lbs, stalking warm forests and jungles as the apex predator of their habitat.

Like regular tigers, dire tigers preyed on just about any Beast that moved, patiently stalking a potential meal, and striking whenever the creature let down its guard.
