Fly

Flies, sometimes called "houseflioes", were an extremely common insect that scavenged on decaying organic matter. These winged creatures were known for their agility in flight, keen sense of smell, and ability to thrive in a variety of conditions. They had a reputation for spreading diseases due to contact with unsanitary surfaces, but could be difficult to kill due to their sharp senses and fast flying speed. As a result, flies were often seen as harbingers of decay, rot, and death.

Flies were characterized by their translucent wings, iridescent bodies, and multifaceted eyes that provided them with a wide field of vision. Their life cycle was divided into egg, larva, pupa, and adult stages, and they reproduced rapidly, contributing to ecosystem decomposition.
