Enhanced armor was a set of armor that had undergone Transmutation to offer far greater protection than its mundane variant. Spellcraft applied during its forging made it more flexible, lighter, and extremely difficult to break via non-magical methods. At certain angles, it had an uncanny glimmer, though could be made to appear indistinguishable from its mundane variant.
Varieties of enhanced armor sets were often categorized by their magical durability, typically referred to as "enhanced", "greater", and "superior". Its value increased exponentially based on its rarity and power.
