Minor but precise Spellcraft cast during the forging process made it more flexible, lighter, and stronger; enhanced sets of armor were extremely difficult to break via non-magical methods. At certain angles, these types of mail had an uncanny glimmer, though could be made to appear indistinguishable from its mundane variant.
Varieties of enhanced armor sets were often categorized by their magical durability, typically referred to as "enhanced", "greater", and "superior". Their value increased exponentially based on its rarity and power.
