Giant goats were a rare species of Goat, far larger than usual. On average a giant goat grew to be 5 ft (1.5 m) tall at the shoulder, and grew long, sharp horns that could be significantly more varied and artful than their smaller kin. They were found in hilly and mountainous regions, and were quite rare: their horns and hooves were often prized products for Mortalkind traders.
Like typical goats, they were herbivorous and rather reclusive. When confronting opponents, they charged and rammed with their horns, and tended to be slightly more aggressive than regular goats simply due to to their physical might. They were occasionally employed as mounts to skilled rangers and druids who could handle their somewhat unpredictable behavior.
