A potion of resistance was a type of potion that caused the skin of the imbiber to naturally deflect much of the magical energy associated with its abjuration. The color and smell of the liquid within these potions varied depending upon the type of damage they gave resistance to. Multiple types of this potion could be safely consumed at one time, granting the drinker protection from many forms of harm.
Potions of resistance came in ten different known forms: fire, cold, acid, lightning, force, thunder, radiant, necrotic, poison and psychic. The effect of these potions lasted for an hour.
