Sorcerers were arcane Spellcasters who drew magic from within themselves. Unlike Wizards, who learned spells through study, sorcerers were born with their power. It came from a magical bloodline, a strange event in their past, or some other innate source. Their magic was natural and instinctive, shaped more by talent and will than by training. They knew fewer spells than wizards, but could cast them more freely and adapt more easily in the moment.
As adventurers, sorcerers relied on quick thinking and raw power. They excelled in sudden fights, using their limited spell selection with great efficiency. Many specialized in a few strong spells and used them repeatedly to great effect. Some shaped their magic in unique ways, altering how spells behaved in the middle of casting. While they lacked the broad utility of other spellcasters, sorcerers made up for it with flexibility, strong magical presence, and the ability to react fast when things went wrong.
