Monks, also called martial artists, were combatants who relied on discipline, training, and inner energy known as Ki. Unlike Fighters, who specialized in mastering weapons and armor, monks focused on unarmed combat and speed. They did not use magic in the traditional sense, but their control over their bodies and minds allowed them to perform extraordinary feats. Monks trained to move quickly, strike precisely, and resist harmful effects through focus and self-control.

As adventurers, monks served as fast and agile combatants. They could move across the battlefield with ease, land multiple strikes in a short time, and avoid attacks more easily than heavily armored fighters. Their abilities allowed them to handle both physical threats and magical dangers with resilience. Outside of battle, monks were useful for scouting, delivering messages, or handling tasks that required speed, balance, or patience. Their discipline and focus made them reliable members of an adventuring group.
