Fairësercë Rána

Fairësercë Rána, known in Common as the Feyblood Crescent, was an Epochal Artifact of unparalleled power. Crafted in the earliest days of Ardhon Miniel, the bow was said to carry the very essence of an Archfey. It was said that the bow itself chose its wielder in moments of true crisis, responding only to hands worthy of its power and intent. It did not have a singular form, but rather reconstructed itself in response to its wielder, and could unleash a surge of reality-altering magic every time its string was drawn.

Elf records of the longbow recounted its powers not just as physical, but as metaphorical; the Feyblood Crescent could shoot the spring from its targets step, cleave the shadow from their backor pin the apple of their eye. Guarded by this singularly potent weapon, Ardhon Miniel stood untouched during the Age of Giants, even while invasions across Somnum shattered many lesser realms. The artifact was forbidden to all but the ruling Eldar King or Queen, and only wielded in times of dire planar threat. To touch the Feyblood Crescent without the sanction of the sovereign was considered a grievous sacrilege, one that could bring Curseas deep and enduring as the magic bound within its limbs.

Ancient accounts suggest that the Feyblood Crescent was constructed by harnessing the currents of Leylinethat ran amidst the Bloomtides, a feywild phenomenon of unending verdant magic. These accounts claim that the bow was not created by elves, but rather was a gift from the Azure Paragon. The Wizards bound the Vivid Realms’s power into a living, responsive weapon, and their methods had been lost to time.
