A rod of the pact keeper was an Arcane Focus used by Warlocks to strengthen their Spellcraft. Its appearance often reflected the nature of the wielder’s patron, such as Fiendish rods carved with clawed motifs, or rods of Abberations shaped from tentacles that carried unsettling visions. The rod increased the power of a warlock’s spells and, once per day, allowed the wielder to regain spent magic.
Variants of the rod existed in different strengths, with rarer versions granting greater magical benefit; these were typically referred to as "greater", "superior", and "supreme" rods. The value of the object increased exponentially based on its rarity and power.
