Warlocks were arcane Spellcasters who gained their power through a pact with a powerful being. Unlike Wizards, who studied magic, or Sorcerers, who were born with it, warlocks received their abilities from an outside force in exchange for service, loyalty, or some other price. This patron could be a Fey lord, a powerful Fiend, an ancient Undead spirit, or another extraplanar entity. Warlocks had less access to magic than other casters, but their spells recharged more often and were usually cast with massive power.
As adventurers, warlocks combined magic with force of will. They often relied on a few reliable spells or magical invocations that they could use without limits. Many favored direct attacks or Curses, while others used charm, illusion, or summoned entities to control the field. Their power depended heavily on the nature of their pact, which shaped both their abilities and their role in the party. Though less versatile than wizards or sorcerers, warlocks brought strong, focused magic and often had unique knowledge or connections tied to their patron.
