Humanoid Skeleton

Humanoid Skeletons were reanimated remains of once-living Smallfolk, stripped of flesh and bound together by necromantic Spellcraft or lingering curses. These skeletons were most often created through deliberate necromancy or Curses, raised to serve a specific purpose. Others rose without direct intervention in places steeped in death, prolonged violence, or corrupting influence. Once animated, they obeyed the will of their creator or the simple directive of the magic that sustained them.

Many bore the rusted weapons or armor they had carried in life, or whatever scraps their master saw fit to provide. Despite their age and apparent fragility, their movements were often precise and agile, driven by magic rather than muscle. They felt no pain, fear, or hesitation, advancing until destroyed or commanded otherwise. However, their aged and brittle bones made them especially vulnerable to bludgeoning and concussive attacks, which could shatter their frames and break the magic binding them together.
