The Abbey's carved halls and solemn statuary on Halfway Isle, sunk deep into the stone below the settlement, offered a rare stillness amid Little Lockford's clatter.
Its presence owed much to the nature of Luhtari themselves, a god not of magic broadly but of magic controlled and disciplined, a philosophy that resonated more deeply with the Gnome's engineering sensibilities than one might expect from a house of worship. Few in the settlement worshipped Luhtari with any regularity, but those who prayed did under the stewardship of the Abbot Kavoda Zilhink Dazzlehat Urvi Oofenklanger, who himself insisted that Lockford's greatest works were Luhtari's controlled magic made manifest through gnomish hands.
