In the events of Tockworth's Clockworks, the four Adventurers who ultimately defeated Tixie and unlocked Little Lockford never encountered Kavoda. However, he was grateful to be let out after the the town was saved, and took Merben Ordri Fizzlehide Pennyluck under his wing at the Abbey.
Kavoda Zilhink Dazzlehat Urvi Oofenklanger was a stalwart figure amongst the Gnome clergy of Little Lockford, a contrast to the rest of the population obsessed with mining and clockworks. Born with minor Clerical powers, he was raised in the Deep Luhtari Abbey to become the Abbot of his faith. Though not many gnomes prayed deeply to Luhtari, those who did appreciated Kavoda's natural whimsy and good-humour, and he cared deeply for his parish. His family were the producers of Oofenklanger's Finest, considered by the gnomes to be the best liquor in the Deepways, and the Abbot himself was a fan of both smoke and drink.
Alongside trusted friend Zamzu Quickzipper Ukkem Zapp Mulberry Kreem, he grew into a position of power in his town despite his general whimsy and lack of practical focus. Kavoda regularly prayed to the god of controlled magic to help defend his town from the threats of the Undermire, and attributed all the great works of Little Lockford to be a result of this prayer. This included the incredible work of the Mage Igna Tynn Nimblepipe Bifimp Giltpurple Flint and the creations of Artificer Tixie Taffebeser Tockworth, much to the annoyance of both.
During the Big Little Lockford Lockdown, Tixie began to go crazy with power, and controlled all of the town's Clockwork Constructs using her Infusions. Kavoda was none the wiser, deep in prayer at the Abbey, and was alone as the town was being evacuated. He was snapped from his meditative trance by a Clockwork Iron Cobra that fell into the lower pit of the Abbey, and used a Spell to merge with the stone of the church. However, the cobra did not leave, programmed merely to search around walls for its nearest prey, and Kavoda was stuck merged with stone as Tockworth's clockworks took control of the town.
