Daggers of Venom were magical weapons that generarted a single dose of potent magical toxin each day. Fine channels were etched beneath the blade, carrying the poison from a concealed reservoir within the hilt to coat the edge when the magic was invoked. Minor Evocation within the dagger refilled the poison chamber, generally filling the dose within a day.
Once exposed, the venom remained stable only briefly before losing its potency. The daggers were favoured by assassins, bounty hunters, and spies, though examples also found their way into military service where a single decisive strike was worth more than a prolonged engagement.
