Welcome to Foraging Techniques, a course focused on the art and science of gathering food from the wild. Students will explore the practical skills of identifying, harvesting, and preparing wild edible plants and fungi. From learning to distinguish between safe and toxic species to understanding seasonal variations and environmental factors, this course offers hands-on experience in sustainable foraging practices. Classes will often take place outdoors, rain or shine, immersing students in the natural environment where they'll apply their newfound knowledge. Happy foraging!
