The Winter Famine of 1015 AC took place in the kingdom of March and killed or displaced 250'000 people of the kingdom, or roughly 15%. It is the worse famine to hit the kingdom in recent memory.
The year saw bad weather, with lots of rain in the spring, cold temperatures until halfway through the summer, and a butchered response from the authorities on how to handle the harvest. The issues were made worse by raiders from the Tejn Suytäme.
