Pothos, also known as the Devil's Jewel for its many luxuries, is the capital of the empire of Zarnagesh, and home to the Haddad dynasty. The city is a sprawling metropolis of roughly 300'000 inhabitants, the the inner city walls housing 50'000.

Founding

The city was founded over 7'000 years ago by traders. Pothos grew rich on trade of wares and slaves, until the slaves rebelled in the Pothos Slave Uprising.

  • The Garnesh Gardens: A great oasis built by the slaves in the city center, next to the royal palace.
  • Haddad Palace: Home of the Haddad dynasty, it is build with red sandstone and has many towers and levels. 
  • Amimi Souq: Located just outside of the inner city, this roofed district is the heard of trade. Many brothels and fighting pits can be found.
  • Mount Kannan: A few hour's ride on horseback can take you to the top of Mount Kannan, overlooking the whole city. At the top of the hill is the Azir Temple, an important religious place for the followers of Re'Pasdar.
