A blade forged in silence and sanctity, Abraham Everbright is the shadowed sword of the Dominion Church—unquestioned, unbeaten, and unknowable. As the Lord Executioner, he is entrusted with the Church's most perilous missions, executing divine judgment with inhuman precision and eerie grace. Though his face is seldom seen, his name alone strikes awe—and terror—into those who know it.
Description
Abraham is always cloaked in his signature magical hood, which obscures his face. Rumors abound about his appearance—some say his features glow with celestial light, others whisper of burning eyes that pierce lies and illusions alike. His presence is quiet but suffocating, an embodiment of judgment given form. Rare glimpses beneath his hood reveal an otherworldly beauty, one both radiant and chilling.
He wears the silver armor of the Dominus Chain, its design tailored to both intimidation and function. His greatswords bears no name, yet it is known to have ended countless lives in the name of divine justice.
Personality
A solitary and enigmatic figure, Abraham speaks little and acts without hesitation. His loyalty to the Silver Prince and the Dominus Chain is absolute, and his faith appears to be the sole fire animating his spirit. Whether he is truly devoid of emotion or simply suppresses it beneath layers of duty is a matter of debate among his peers.
He is perceived as a soulless instrument of divine will by some, and as a tortured servant of justice by others. Though he rarely reveals his inner thoughts, his long silences and distant stares suggest a deep internal struggle—one rooted in identity, purpose, and possibly guilt.
Background
Abraham’s origin is a closely guarded secret within the Dominion Church. Officially, he was found wandering the wilds as a child—alone, half-starved, and bearing wings that dragged behind him in the dirt. A band of knights stumbled upon him and nearly executed him for his angelic features, mistaking him for a heretical creature. Only the intervention of their commander, Siegfred Sigismund, spared his life.
Siegfred brought the boy to the holy city of Enghilm, where he raised and trained him in the ways of the Silver Prince. Under his mentor’s guidance, Abraham grew into a disciplined and deadly swordsman, developing an unshakable devotion to the faith. As he matured, he joined the Dominus Chain, driven by the certainty that his purpose lay in serving the divine through steel and sacrifice.
Despite his meteoric rise, Abraham was always haunted by an absence within himself. Though he believed he was human, something about his nature—his appearance, his talents, and the strange emptiness inside—suggested otherwise. He often sought solitude to meditate, searching for meaning in silence, but true understanding eluded him.
In time, he became the Lord Executioner, the Church’s most lethal weapon. His mission record was unblemished; not a single failure tarnished his name—until he encountered a band of adventurers known as The Travellers.
In his first true defeat, Abraham was humbled. The encounter shook the foundations of his identity, forcing him to question not only his abilities but his worthiness to carry the sacred blades. He has not since returned to face the Travellers, though many believe their paths are fated to cross again.
