Sonya Vasili

In the land of Rivermond, amidst the dark alleys and corridors, a young woman named Sonya Vasili leads a life entwined with shadows and darkness. Born to a family who sought a better life in Rivermond, little did they know that fate had other plans for their daughter. Unbeknownst to them, their lives would soon become entangled with a malevolent force beyond mortal comprehension—the abyssal deity known as Xinon, the Prince of the Lost.

From a young age, Sonya found herself under Xinon's watchful gaze. The deity manipulated every aspect of her upbringing, orchestrating major events in her life to push her down a path leading to his dark embrace. Cursed with misfortune and plagued by illnesses, Sonya's parents suffered at the hands of Xinon's machinations, and she found solace only in her newfound patron. Xinon whispered promises of power, offering to grant her abilities to help her ailing parents. With each gift of power, however, Sonya unknowingly surrendered a piece of herself to the abyssal entity.

As she grew older, the darkness within Sonya deepened, and the allure of power overcame her. Embracing her role as a warlock, she wielded dark magic with mastery, driven by the desire to protect those she cared about. Yet, with each step towards mastery, she lost touch with her former self and her ties to the mortal world. As her powers grew, her parents' health declined, until one fateful day, when she turned twenty-eight, they passed away, leaving her with a lifetime of grief and hardship at such a young age.

Fully embracing the powers granted by Xinon, Sonya has become an enigmatic figure, drifting through the shadows of Rivermond like a ghost. Her jet black hair and leather attire blend seamlessly with the darkened surroundings, granting her the perfect camouflage as she roams the streets as an informant and spy for various nobles. Unfazed by their petty squabbles, she cares little for their ambitions, but her actions serve a greater purpose—to provide her patron with invaluable insights into the mortal realm.

Rather than actively spreading Xinon's name, Sonya serves as the eyes and ears for the enigmatic deity. She gathers secrets and knowledge, relaying them to her patron, who remains fascinated by the complexities of mortal life. In the midst of her covert missions, she has become a master manipulator, able to navigate the treacherous political landscape of Rivermond. The power she wields is dark and alluring, drawing others into her web of shadows.

Yet, beneath her stoic exterior lies a woman burdened by the weight of her choices. Haunted by the memories of her past and the loss of her parents, Sonya struggles to reconcile her past life with the dark path she now walks. As the darkness within her continues to grow, she grapples with the ever-present temptation to yield completely to the abyssal power within.
