Campaign Recap

The Party's journey began with a smooth border crossing alongside a dwarven caravan, led by Floki Bjornson, into the Khein Dynasty. They were greeted by Max and Commander Mirann, who introduced them to Sabre, a large walking automaton. Varis Brightheart inspected Sabre and noticed missing parts and makeshift adjustments, prompting him to spend the night examining it. Meanwhile, Bartimaeus Brightheart, Varis's family companion, sought rest, and Amelia Vicarin, their travelling companion, explored the Stronghold.

In the holding cells of the keep, they discovered Keira Everron, a stranger from the Vache Kingdom, who had been found in the same crate as Sabre. She was initially suspected of being a spy or saboteur. The next day, Varis discovered a hidden cube within Sabre's chest, which Sabre quickly concealed upon awakening. Although Sabre was fixed, he lacked a voice module.

After Sabre had been repaired, the group continued their mission to escort it across the border into Unknown, Their objective was to have it inspected by a researcher at the Arcane Academy, located just outside of Greenfield in Rivermond. Prior to their departure, they approached Keira Everron and requested if she could accompany them. Keira agreed, understanding that it would result in less violence and that her presence would become the party's responsibility. After gathering her belongings, she joined the group.

En route to the border, traveling alongside the dwarven caravan that had previously aided them in crossing, they all noticed some movement coming from one of the carts. To their surprise, they discovered a small cat-person who had clandestinely hitched a ride with them from the Knight's Rest. She introduced herself as Aislinne and expressed a strong desire to travel while also uncovering the mysteries of her dragon lineage. Recognizing that she posed no threat to their current mission, the party welcomed her to join them.

As they approached the Rivermond side of the border, they stumbled upon a newly constructed encampment. It was populated by soldiers from the local Bellmond region as well as soldiers from the Rivermond Capital. They concealed themselves within the caravan as the dwarves led them through the encampment. However, their progress was momentarily halted by Captain Fredrik Von Vulcain, who sought to inspect their goods. Before he could uncover the presence of the hidden party members, a Knight approached, addressing the dwarf leading the caravan, Floki Bjornson. This Knight, known as Za'Halid Nasi, vouched for them and urged the Captain to allow them to pass, indicating a previous acquaintance with Floki.

Upon successfully crossing the border and reaching Rivermond safely, they continued their journey and eventually stumbled upon an inn named the Lioness Inn, They spent the night there, and the following morning, as the dwarves prepared to resume their travels, the party expressed their gratitude and parted ways with the caravan, as their paths diverged from that point onward.
