The cam-bot shows the Mitsuhama skyline from a rooftop in early twilight. Flicker makes her entrance to the camera view frame by appearing as a hazy after-image from above that lands in solidity with a perfect gymnastic landing.

Yup, I'm a meta-human. I got my powers care of Mitsuhama Splice, but I'm an ARGENT girl -- Advanced Research Group Enterprises for those not in the know. They gave me this cool cam-bot and said, "please don't embarrass us", so I won't. This feed is mine, mine, mine and you that's the last you're hear about work and ARGENT -- well, usually.  I'm also going to keep my clothes on -- y'all already know where *those* feeds are.

So, if I'm not going to talk about ARGENT, what are you going to find here? Well, in addition to working for ARGENT, I'm got a side hustle of picking up gigs of the meta-net. I like picking the ones that don't pay much because you know those don't get answered often. And with my cam-bot, its like you're right along with me, catching bad guys or helping out those that need it -- but don't worry, I'll be skipping all the boring parts.

When its bad, I wake up ravenous. Bit a nurse once -- bad. Now they have a tube in my mouth and gnashing on it squeezes a protein-rich liquid into my mouth -- similar to the stuff they're putting on my back - forcing the material that in another place, another time, I might have hunted, into my body so I can heal.

I can only think about how much my back itches a need that I sometimes wish they'd tie my down for, rather than relying on me to force myself not to scratch, to pull away what my body is supposed to be absorbing. Just a few hours, and it will be over, and my back, blackened by Detonator's final hurray will be pink and new and ready to tan.

A beer. Some bugs. No, no bugs. Steak. Thick and Bloody and they'll feed me and feed me and then...

...then they'll start asking questions. What happened to Detonator? He was loaded up with blue rush and exploded. If Flex hadn't thrown him...

...well, they'd be giving me a lot more protein, and I don't really want to put my healing to *that* big of a test.

Who loaded up Detonator? Same people controlling him probably. Who was controlling him? Whoever got the control from Dr. Grey. Whoever is in the Block. Slipstream, or one of his assholes.

So, Henry's out -- heard some metas were involved, practically tearing down the Block and makin' a real mess of Splitstream's goons cosplaying prison guards. Aww.

I kind of wondered if AEGIS was sending their overflow to the Block but from the look I got when I collected on Henry's Contract? From his wife *and* from AEGIS. Still, can't be great doing business with some asshole who is all proud of 'his man' blowing up practically a whole division of AEGIS. So, they're not exactly in good humor over there. But not many are anywhere.

Not that completely trashing the prison was a great idea, but the guards were acting like it was a shooting gallery, so I had to do something. But now the Spraw is flooded with even more criminals. The Heights will definitely need help -- and then some. Wild Side is getting wilder -- people coming out to settle old scores.

That might even ping whoever did it as a .. criminal. Luckily, only Splitstream knows for sure and he's not eager to rat me out because then he'd have to admit he held Henry White.

How much did Splitstream know about his man blowing up? Did he pull the trigger? He had Grey, but she was no one after Parasol towers went down. Someone with the keys to Detonator. Who's she give them up to?
