Nass Lantomir was a Divination wizard student of Zelenn the White in the Arcane Brotherhood. She was among the student friends that included Dex, Alyks Askaria, and Maccath. Nass was among those captured by the Drow, later to escape. She used a magical amulet to back-shift time and spare Sarith Kzekarit, bringing herself back to the Host Tower. (See Lost Below)
Later, her studies had greatly slowed in comparison to her peers, for she simply lacked the same talent. On the brink of failing out, Nass became determined to show she did, in fact, have the talent to become a wizard. She set off after Vellynne Harpell and Dzaan, who had taken a mission into Icewind Dale, carrying a mysterious orb. The orb contained the spirit Mormesk, leading the wizards along paths to determine the cause and potential to correct the Everlasting Winter. Misfortune found her, however, as she was frozen along with the crew of a ship on the coast of the Sea of Moving Ice.
Her ghost was later encountered, able to speak through her weasel familiar. (See Shipwreck, Spirits and Scion).
And her ghost is now one of Dex's minions.
