Aghbalu’s parents fled the war-torn nation of Vrunthull before his memory, seeking solace in Zienen of The Estarian Sanctuary. For a time, the family found peace working as jewelers, quickly becoming Silvers of a rising coinlord. Aghbalu in particular had a skill for finding and identifying gemstones and Arclode of particularly high magical attunement, eventually reaching the status of gold. In this time he also made contact with members of The Fatebound, brokering many deals with the former Marshal of Coin to provide them the artifacts and other materials used for spellcasting and protection. But when Estaria declared war on The Timocracy of Chanard and began the The War of Tradition, he refused to support any such endeavor. Marked as a traitor by his former allies, he was forced to flee The Estarian Sanctuary for the The Eternal Instant where he became a full member of the order. With long-established contacts and his competency for organization and structure, Aghbalu quickly rose through the ranks, become Marshal of Coin himself when his former business partner retired.
Aghbalu runs a tight ship, ensuring that every piece of gold, every trace of magic, and every ounce of arclode that travels in and out of the Eternal Instant is properly inventoried and recorded. But when not working, he is an exuberant partier, one who partakes in the finer things in life while also ensuring his allies and friends are equally well treated.
