Director Nystrum Shadar is a retired general of Thrane's military, and now acts as the leader of the Argentum. He led Thrane to victory in several engagements in the later years of the Last War (including at Cairn Hill), and is well known and respected in Thrane, though most people are unaware of his current role.
Due to the secrecy that Nystrum's role entails, he is not officially a recognised member of the Council of Flamekeep, though he does answer to them directly.
