A citadel belonging to the House of Deton. Regarded as ugly by many of the Houses, this citadel is all about function and its function is pumping oil - black gold for the house. While the House has smaller wells scattered across their land this is the major well and major refinery.
Inside the citadel is home to the House's oil workers and military there being some overlap between the two. As they wander out onto the ice they have to be ready to fix wells or fight bandits and their outfits and cold suits reflect this.
While it does sit near the cliffs the citadel is not designed for off the side fishing like Stormbound but also being further south is less often coated head to toe in ice. The heat produced by the refinery and the other buildings ensures this.
Inside the citadel isn't luxurious, its sparse and ill lit. The architecture is brutal. Living conditions are harsh and members of the House have a high suicide rate. In the winter there are only a few hours of sunlight a day and morale can get low and the troops irritable. The only desirable rooms are midway up the central tower and overlook the icy seas.
The only truly magnificent room in the citadel is the throne room style council chamber of Lord of the House of Deton.
The lower floors are given over to armaments storage and factories making and restoring the House's snowmobiles. These are used by the rangers on their patrols of the snows. Recently religious radicals from Barony of Twain have begun to blow up oil wells and kill the houses rangers, knights and oil workers. This has caused the House to up their patrols and to invest to rearming themselves. They cannot possibly build enough weaponry and therefore are looking to make a deal with other houses to supply them arms.
