The Illiadian Holy Grand Countess of Logic, and Illiadian deity of Intelligence, Learning, Scholars and Reason. Often taking on the appearance of an Illiadian Human woman in order to teach people in a plethora of topics, it is said that Itah helped the gods teach the early Karrin on a variety of topics. It is also said that the first ever schools were founded in her name. Generally, it is said that, while The Golden Scribe is the librarian of the Illiadian pantheon, Itah is the one who uses the knowledge and information found in their library and applies it to situations.
While followers of Itah are always encouraged to look at the facts and keep a cool head, they nonetheless are still encouraged to take emotions into account, as mortals and Karrin are simply emotional creatures. This worldview is also reinforced by her positive relationship to Avon, Illiadian Holy Grand Count of Emotions, as the two often share their insights with each other, and give each other advice.
Itah's realm within the Cathedrals is the Halls of Logic, where she and her followers do their research. She also serves directly under Rencal Kei-Rhai and The Golden Scribe.
Basic tenets of Itah:
- Do not let emotions overrule your judgement, but also keep them in mind, as emotions are what differentiate a mortal from a machine.
- Learning for the sake of learning something new is always virtuous in of itself. Personal growth is always worth it.
- Don't merely hoard knowledge, but also teach whenever you are able to. Young minds need cultivation.
