Summary: Successful Delivery of the Obsidian Lotus

The Group meets in a Tavern in Rividam, to meet their client after doing a sight-seeing tour at the city. The Party consists of Miranda Evadottir, Cerviel, G.U-VI, Candavira AKA "Candle" and Veritas Avaritia. Miranda ponders out-loud if the client may be a noble, due to the outrageously large payout on the job, only to get reminded by the tavern lady "This is a republic, dearie!" They also overhear some rumors of a Tusindfrydian dwarven pirate, who stole a new blink ship from the military.

The client joins with them. Introduces himself as Limni Diluvi, the Ree-Mai, director of The Silver Heart Trading Company. Cerviel and Limni have a short, pleasant conversation, recognizing each other as fellow worshipers of Rencal Kei-Rhai. Miranda correctly deduces that Limni seems to have some bardic capability, but can't quite place what college he may have gotten his expertise from.

Limni brings the party to his ship, the Prince of Tulips, to discuss things. As they wait for the lift up to the deck, Limni asks the party in one of them wants to do something cool. Candle accepts, and Limni uses Dimension Door to teleport both of them to the deck, leaving Candle ecstatic.

In his quarters, Limni shows the party the Obsidian Lotus, an artifact of the Illiadian gods of Life and Death, Vith and Prethao, which he intends to deliver to the Central Temple in Argentis for religious reasons. The Party needs to first travel with him from Rividam to Alken, then go to Zeewacht, where they'll meet up with a confidant of his, who will deliver it with them to Lordston, the capital of the Royal Union of Albia, Galon and Wanil. From there, it will get delivered to Argentis by someone else.

The party accepts, and the adventure starts.

Miranda visits Limni in his quarters and talks to him about the quest. Limni assures her that things will be fine, though she hears snippets about a "Dragon Turtle", which he is muttering under his breath. She decides not to press it further.

On the way to Alken, the party sees a Grenwalian warship pass, but otherwise, not much happens. At night tough, Cerviel is awoken by strange noises on the deck, where he meets a bunch of Kobolds, stealing fruit from the crates on deck. They got kicked out of their den for various reasons and sneaked on the ship by approaching it with a very shitty raft. Cerviel took pity on them, and helped with giving them a crate of fruit, and letting them go.

As the party is slowly approaching Alken, they're ambushed by the dwarven pirate that was rumored to be in the area, with the Blink-Ship and crew. But the party manages to deal with them real quick. Veritas deals the last blow, keeping him alive. And although he intends to keep the Blink-Ship, he, much to his annoyance, has to give it up since it's Tusindfrydian government property. Party is awarded 1000 Gold each.

In Zeewacht, the Party meets up with Safona Aleyana, who then helps them transport them to Lordston; only for the party to get ambushed again, this time by a young Dragon Turtle. After a fight, Veritas, once again, deals the last blow, bisecting it in the middle and killing it.

After the party's arrival in Lordston, they are compensated with the 200.000 Gold they were promised.
