These are the session notes for the oneshot with Mikaela (Bluebell) and Clara (Euclid Lazuli), starting in Biggityburg.
Quest: A New Attraction.
Euclid Lazuli walked in to Biggityburg and observed a large crowd of giants and gnomes crowding around a building on the right side of the street. Upon investigating, she, Bluebell, and the onlookers saw the sundered enterior of Sparclank and Co Machinery. Watching Sheriff Thrym Overpeak managing the scene, they followed the exiting Jewel and Daisy Sparclank from the workshop to Jewel's inn, the Blinking Cauldron. They got hot chocolate for Daisy and calmed her down. They learned that she was in the workshop last night with her father, Rust Sparclank. He was working on some new automatons when she heard a crash, and saw the massive construct bust out of the front doors.
Returning to the scene of the crime, the pair found a mysterious viscous liquid. Deputy Snagga was found unconscious around the back of the workshop> With a detect thoughts spell, Bluebell observed two distinct voices within Snagga's mind: hers, and a higher voice speaking Deep. They two were able to discern the word "return". Healing Snagga, she awoke and returned home. Thrym Overpeak pointed out some tracks leading east out of town and asked Bluebell and Euclid Lazuli to follow them.
Traveling through the woods, Bluebell summoned woodland creatures and Euclid Lazuli was quickly swarmed by an angry pack of geese. Escaping them, Euclid Lazuli found a pair of chipmunks to speak to. They shared their observations of large loud creatures booming through the forest here, further east to the start of the mountain range. This group was interrupted by a rogue, electrically charged gnome automaton (Clockwork Bronze Scount) which attacked them. During the fight, Daisy Sparclank joined in, revealing that she'd been following Bluebell and Euclid Lazuli so she could help save her dad. Upon defeating the construct, Daisy accessed the controls and sent the non-hostile construct back to the workshop.
Following the trail further, Bluebell, Euclid Lazuli, and Daisy Sparclank came upon Craterstep, a long abandoned giant stronghold somewhat near the base of the dividing mountain range of the Catalus Coast, the Verdelen Mountains. Inside the courtyard was the giant automaton (Clockwork Defender). The 3 snuck up on the huge construct and attacked. During a tough battle, the party learned that the construct held Rust Sparclank in its chest and another aberration-type creature was piloting it from the head. Upon defeat by targeting the head, Euclid Lazuli determined that the creature which had stolen the automatons was an Intellect Devourer.
Bluebell, Euclid Lazuli, Daisy Sparclank, and Rust Sparclank returned to Biggityburg, with Sheriff Thrym Overpeak greeting the two PCs as heroes. The town gathered later that week to watch the Stardust Spectacle and their new attraction, a performance of dancing gnome and giant automatons which celebrated the history of collaboration the two groups have built over the years here in Biggityburg.
