The island of Khenarthi's Roost is originally a territory of the Nation of Elsweyr. However, in the 2nd Era, Bosmer and Khajiit alike lived side by side in the city of Mistral and ruled the island together under the umbrella of the Aldmeri Dominion. Since this union occurred, the city of Mistral was built with a union of Bosmer and Khajiiti architecture.
