Carbon-Mesh Bonding
Applies to any weapon.
A strengthening technique that layers a mesh of ultralight and durable carbon onto the weapon. As it bonds to the item, it leaves a faint grid-like patterns over its surface.

Magnetic Weapon Tether
Applies to any weapon.
A small magnetic device built into the weapon, which can quickly snap back to a readied position on the wearer at the press of a button, without having to scramble to retrieve it.

Applies to any weapon with the Cumbersome or Unwieldy quality.
Any sort of technology that may be used to arrest unwanted motion, such as a harness, a bipod, or a set of antigrav emitter pods.

- Base Modifiers: The weapon's Cumbersome and Unwieldy qualities decrease by -1 (min 1). Its Encumberance value decreses by -1 (min 1).

Scanner-Proof Hardware
Applies to any weapon.
A collection of alterations and augmentations that makes the weapon virtually invisible to scanners, such as replacing heavier components with lightweight polycarbonates and masking others with fibers known to trick most scanning equipment. This practice is highly illegal within virtually every federation and faction across the galaxy.

- Base Modifiers: The weapon cannot be detected by standard weapon-detecting technologies. Advanced scanners require a Difficulty 3 Computers check to find the weapon. Physical body searches still locate the weapon as ususal.
