These two massive towers, by far the tallest buildings in the city as they loom over 50’ taller than the next tallest building, are two of the most prominent buildings in the city, even featuring on the city’s coat of arms flanking the Fortress (despite the fact in reality the Towers are both within 200 feet of each other and in a different part of the city entirely to the Fortress.) The White Tower, decorated with symbols of life and birth, is coated in limestone to disguise the natural basalt, and was constructed to function as a home for Luciel I’s mother, The Queen Mother Lady Isobel, as Luciel hated Caislean and wanted to make Balla her new capital. The Black Tower, slightly taller than the White Tower, decorated with symbols of death and coated in obsidian, was built to be her own home as she found herself getting increasingly paranoid about living in the fortress. Ironically, she never lived in this either and soon moved back to Caisleán. Like so many of Queen Luciel's architectural designs the towers were never completed, but were retained by the Imperial Troll Empire as historic landmarks; the White Tower is now a museum of Tiran history. A third tower, The Grey Tower, was built at the foot of the two towers to act as the Southern Tir branch of the Grand Order of Wizards following the Fall of Caislean.
