A band of orc raiders flying an unknown banner have taken to raiding the eastern stretch of The Triboar Trail from a base somewhere near Wyvern Tor. The orcs have been seriously disrupting trade along the trail, cutting off Phandalin from much needed supplies and coin. In addition, the orcs have proved particularly savage, taking pleasure in killing and mutilating caravan workers. Harbin Wester has offered 200 GP raised by the people and businesses of Phandalin to be awarded to any group that removes the orc gangs from the area.
