1. Sildar Hallwinter:

    1. While the Party is preparing to leave, Sildar Hallwinter finds Raemund Faeton in town and pulls him aside for a conversation. Sildar tells Raemund that he feels the influence of Helm in bringing him to the Party in such a farflung place at the exact time when he was needed. Sildar was very concerned for the safety and well-being of the members of The Party, Lady Vala in particular. He knows there are many influential and even dangerous organizations in the region that would be very interested in knowing her whereabouts. Sildar feels a duty to protect her, but he also has many obligations to the Lords' Alliance, to the people of Phandalin, and to Gundren Rockseeker that he cannot ignore. He feels very grateful that someone as stalwart and respectable as a Cleric of Lathander will be by her side while she adventures. Sildar holds his palm out to Raemund, and offers to him an iron emblem in the shape of a crown. He tells Raemund that pinning it to his tabard signals that he is officially recognized as an ally of the Lords' Alliance, with all the privileges and protections that entails. Sildar explains that it is Raemund's choice to wear the symbol and that there are no obligations to join the Alliance. It is, however, a pledge to act in cooperative defense of allies aligned with the Lords' Alliance, which could lead to official membership in the future.

    Raemund Faetun:

    1. Raemund accepts the iron emblem in the shape of a crown and replies, “I am honored to pin this symbol to my tabard. I pledge to do all I can to aid Lady Vala in her quests and to aid and protect her from any entities that would do her harm. Let us say a prayer to the Morning Lord and to Helm. I agree, that divine influence has brought us all together.”

    Sildar Hallwinter:

    1. Sildar is extremely pleased that Raemund accepted the quest and prays for the help, guidance, and strength from all the Goodly Gods.
    2. Sildar proudly pins the emblem on the tabard and tells Rae that he "pledges his sword and his shield to mutual defense of Brother Raemund Faeton to the end of his days" and that he beseeches "the Wisdom of the Even Handed, the Righteousness of the True God, and the Vigilance of The Watcher" to give Raemund strength in his questing.
