Grew is a magical +1 Quarterstaff created by the druid, Reidoth, through Transmutation magic that destroyed its evil counterpart, [Destroyed] Hew, repurposing its power to serve the forces of the natural world. [Destroyed] Hew had been used to destroy an unknown number of plants and plant creatures since its creation, storing their life energy in its evil enchantment. Grew could tap these energies to release them back into the world to cast Druidic magic, but once the energy pool was depleted, much of its magical abilities would be lost. An attuned wielder need only touch the end of Grew to a piece of wood present in the environment and invoke the trigger words "Be one with the land again" in Druidic to summon a powerful Wood Golem to fight on their side.
