Found by The Party during Session15 while traveling north toward Thundertree, this small, travel-worn wooden chest was discovered half-buried beneath a snow mound along the High Road, flanked by two frozen caravanners with their arms outstretched toward it. Iron-banded and mud-caked, with a plain latch and no visible markings or magical aura, it appeared recently buried—or unearthed—in haste. Though seemingly significant enough to die for, the chest was completely empty when opened. There was a single gold coin found beneath it, pocketed by Erynn Haldwynn.
