The MTC-112 is a common type of courier ship model commissioned by the Maerthian Trade Commission (MTC) it is capable of planetary flight and take-off being pronominally used to ferry goods within solar systems. It is equipped with a Type-B Skim-Drive capable of moderate FTL travel. While not as large nor fast as dedicated transport carriers, it still boast the capacitively to carry serval standardized MTC cargo containers and is equipped with two small cargo bays. It is armed with six civilian grade Point defence turrets, as well as three scramble launchers.
Its prow has a large ramp attached to its front cargo bay as well as two PAH tubes, and its hull is divided into two parts separated by a of centre standard cargo ribcage. The main hull has a small cargo bay facing the ribcage, and house the main components of the vessel such as crew quarters, main engines, reactor, life-support and command bridge.
The standard MTC-112 in service to the MTC has its hull pained orange with vertical blue lines representing its home planet, its weaponry and bridge is painted white in accordance with United Human Defence Board (UHDB)'s regulation for civilian defence weaponry. Cargo containers within its ribcage vary depending on orgin.
The MTC-112 can be found in service to other organizations or individuals. The LDF(Luna Defence Fleet) use their versatility as support craft or even militarized versions as escorts for their fleets. Many MTC-112 are also in service to Megacorporation's or smaller governments sporting its own painted heraldry. Its divided hull makes its font half easy to retrofit or modify, and its already installed skim drive and planetary entry capability makes it a good choice for upstart Coreseekers, the most famous MTC-112 might be the coreseeker vessel "the Princess of Centauri"
