Yozora Hinokumo is a female tabaxi monk and an energetic, if slightly scattered, member of Bromocorah Inc., her attention deficit symptoms and feline instincts adding a whirlwind of chaos to the guild. Standing at 5’6”, Yozora has a lean, agile frame typical of a tabaxi, her sleek, pink fur streaked with faint silver patterns that shimmer in the light. Her large, amber eyes are wide and darting, constantly shifting focus as her attention flits from one thing to the next, and her tufted ears twitch at the slightest sound, especially if a rabbit is nearby. Her whiskers quiver with excitement, and her long tail lashes constantly, often knocking over nearby objects when she gets distracted. A small scar across her nose, earned from a particularly frenzied rabbit chase, adds a rugged charm to her otherwise sleek appearance
.
Yozora’s attire is simple but practical, reflecting her monastic lifestyle and her need for mobility. She wears a loose, sleeveless tunic in deep blue, its hem tied up to keep it from snagging during her acrobatic movements, paired with fitted trousers that allow her to sprint and leap with ease. Her clawed feet are bare, her natural pads toughened from years of training, and her hands are wrapped in cloth strips for protection during combat, though they’re often unraveling due to her distracted fidgeting. A small, woven belt pouch holds a few trinkets—shiny stones, a feather, and a half-eaten piece of jerky—that she’s collected in her wanderings, and a simple wooden pendant carved with a crescent moon hangs around her neck, a keepsake from her monastery.
As a monk, Yozora is a blur of motion in battle, her fists and feet striking with precision when she manages to focus, her monastic training allowing her to channel ki into devastating strikes or bursts of speed. However, her attention deficit makes her unpredictable—she’ll often lose focus mid-fight, suddenly chasing after a butterfly or pouncing on a “rodent” (usually a rabbit), shouting, “No thought, head empty, if I could crush the obstacles, it’s the right way! You have to be peaceful and calm, but not when a rabbit’s around ya! Catch that rodent!” Her feline instincts amplify this chaos, her tail puffing up at the sight of small, scurrying creatures, and she’ll abandon strategy to chase them, much to her guildmates’ exasperation. Despite this, she’s fiercely loyal and quick to offer help, often declaring, “I’ll help you whenever you have a problem!”—though her “help” tends to make things more chaotic, like when she tried to “assist” Tamago with a spell by pouncing on him mid-casting, sending a fireball careening into a tree.
