Verin is a vibrant female elf bard with a hint of human gene and a spirited member of Bromocorah Inc., her larger-than-life personality and questionable culinary habits making her a unique addition to the guild. At 5’5”, Verin has the graceful, slender build of an elf, with smooth, tan skin that glows with a subtle sheen under moonlight, a trait she often points out with a self-satisfied smirk. Her striking green eyes, framed by long lashes, sparkle with a mix of mischief and self-admiration, and her short, dark hair is swept to one side, adorned with a purple beret topped with a golden star pin—a signature accessory she claims “enhances her natural radiance.” Her pointed elven ears are decorated with small silver hoops, and she carries herself with an exaggerated confidence, often striking dramatic poses to showcase her “undeniable charm.”
Verin’s attire reflects her bardic flair and self-loving nature. She wears a flowing, lavender blouse with billowing sleeves, paired with a fitted white vest that she keeps unbuttoned to “let her beauty shine through.” Her short front skirt is coloured purple but her skirt is long on the back, and her knee-high boots are polished to a shine, though often splattered with cooking mishaps. A long, gray scarf wraps loosely around her neck, fluttering dramatically when she performs, and she carries a polished flute wooden flute, she often dedicating songs to herself.
As a bard, Verin’s magic is woven into her music, her songs capable of inspiring courage, charming foes, or even healing minor wounds, though she often uses her performances to sing odes to her own greatness, much to the amusement (or exasperation) of her guildmates. Her self-loving nature borders on narcissistic—she’ll pause mid-battle to admire her reflection in a puddle or adjust her beret, declaring, “Even in chaos, I remain a vision!”—but her heart is ultimately in the right place, especially when it comes to her adoptive parents, Kilionzel and Demit, whom she adores with a fierce loyalty. She sees them as the perfect role models, often trailing after Kilionzel to mimic her leadership or pestering Demit for magical advice, all while showering them with affectionate (and slightly over-the-top) praise. She personally thinks that her adoptive mother is very pretty and badass and her adoptive father is cool and wise.
Verin’s most peculiar trait is her cooking, which she approaches with the same confidence she applies to everything else—despite its questionable results. She loves to cook the remains of the group’s hunts, including goblin bones, kobold bones, and other unsavory ingredients, believing she’s creating “gourmet delicacies.” There’s a 50% chance her dishes are edible; the other half are either toxic or simply inedible, often resulting in a strange, bubbling stew that smells like burnt leather. Bruno, with his low intelligence and iron stomach, loves her cooking, enthusiastically devouring even her worst creations while shouting as if the meal gives him magical strength. Argetha, the guild’s resident grandmotherly figure, looks at Verin as her disciple in cooking, gently trying to steer her toward more conventional recipes, though Verin insists on her “innovative” methods, much to Argetha’s quiet amusement.
Verin shares a sibling-like connection with Rimeus, another member of Bromocorah Inc., their dynamic a mix of playful rivalry and deep camaraderie. They often bicker over trivial things—like who gets to stand closer to Kilionzel during a mission—but they’re quick to support each other in battle, with Verin using her bardic magic to inspire Rimeus while he covers her with his own skills. Their banter is a constant source of entertainment for the guild, though it occasionally drives Demit to mutter about needing “silence” to focus on his spells.
She also adores Frostia despite always teasing him about being an old man and having a back problem(which probably not true) she does want to help him if he ever needed help. She thinks that Tamago is the easiest to get along and she often gives her cooking to him. She doesnt really understans Longtail but she doesnt mind Longtail at all. She often tries to invite them and other guild members to do her skincare routine together
