As the adventurers fled the destruction of the Golden Lion, their escape along the Dellar Road was interrupted by the sight of a large creature soaring from the direction of the destroyed tavern. With the looming threat fast approaching, the group swiftly veered into the Delan Woods, seeking refuge in the dense foliage. Deep within the woods, they stumbled upon an unexpected sight—an army encampment of the Eastern Kingdom. Here, they encountered General Gerald Coppertile, who commanded the forces stationed in the area. The camp was gripped by a palpable tension, worsened by the appearance of Nono, the goblin who had escaped during the earlier confrontation with the adventurers. Recognizing the group, Nono quickly accused them of murder, revealing their dark deed to the general. However, Matty 'Asmatheus' Forester managed to sway General Coppertile, convincing him of Nono's deceit. In a stark display of military justice, Nono was beheaded by a soldier, removing the immediate threat to the adventurers' newfound anonymity.

The general, now viewing the adventurers in a different light, enlisted their help. A mysterious plague had been ravaging his soldiers, and a potential cure required the blood of Pseudodragons, creatures known to dwell within the woods around Middale. The group agreed to assist. Their search led them on a 2 week long travel into the forest where they encountered a stone golem. The battle that ensued was fierce, but ultimately, they triumphed over the stony adversary. Beyond the golem's fallen form, they found the Pseudodragons and collected the necessary blood. Returning to the camp with their precious cargo, the adventurers contributed to the creation of a cure, which proved effective against the plague. Their successful aid not only earned them the gratitude and respect of General Coppertile and his troops but also allowed them to continue their journey with new allies possibly watching their backs. As they left the camp, the morning light began to seep through the trees, and the adventurers set their sights southward.
