Previous Episode: Sands of Time - S01 E05
Continuing from where they left off in Adarq on the 56th day of Asdeh, 2979 ADM, the adventurers successfully produced 500 bottles of peanut butter within three days. As they prepared to journey to Khar Benidir, Valys Macadamia, riding in her luxurious chariot, invited them to travel with her. After nearly three days on the road, they arrived in the center of Khar Benidir. Bidding farewell to Valys, they headed straight to Billy's Bastion tavern. At the tavern, they quickly learned that Billy Ryler, a significant guest and likely the owner, wanted to discuss a heist. Intrigued by the opportunity, they agreed to help Billy steal the Time Key from Adrius Black's mansion. The Time Key, as they learned, was essential for activating the Sands of Time.
To execute their plan, Davkas Grosko and Butters P. Nutts visited the market to purchase enough nuts to fill a large box, in which Davkas concealed himself. Meanwhile, the others scouted Black's estate, investigating potential entry points and planning their strategy. They purchased additional supplies and presented their plan to Billy, who approved. On the day of the heist, Butters, Juulia Troski, and Jack ‘Jacky’ Can approached Black's Estate under the guise of proposing a distribution deal for their peanut butter, secretly smuggling Davkas inside the box of nuts. At night, Davkas emerged from the box and unlocked the door for the others, who had bypassed the magic barrier protecting the estate. Navigating past guards and Adrius' son, Jacob Black, they searched the mansion for the office where the vault was hidden. They discovered the vault after triggering a secret mechanism involving a pen. Billy joined them, using a special magic tool to open the vault and retrieve the Time Key. The adventurers also looted gold bars, a crown, and an amulet before making a hasty escape, facilitated by Butters creating a diversion by smashing the cobblestone perimeter. Returning to Billy's Bastion, they were shocked to find it sold and abandoned, with no trace of Billy Ryler. The session concluded with the adventurers left to ponder Billy's disappearance and their next steps in their quest.
