Previous Episode: The Significant Treasure - S02 E07
After their recent adventures, Ragnar Meliamne, Matty 'Asmatheus' Forester, and their allies continued their journey into the evening. They were approached by an old man named Gorstag Evenwood, who requested their help in finding his lost pet. Agreeing to assist him, they decided to rest for the night and start their search the next morning. During his watch, Ragnar noticed his golden egg glowing. Intrigued, he stepped away from the camp to examine it, knowing it could hatch into either a dragon or a large raccoon. The next morning, they returned to Gorstag, who explained that his lost pet was a fish from the lake near his house. To lure it back, they needed the fish's favorite herb from a rogha plant.
Ragnar and Matty set out in a boat to find the fish, but were suddenly attacked by a large creature. As they fought it off, they realized this was the fish they were searching for, and it ended up destroying their boat. Swimming back to shore, they were met by Red Knights, elite warriors of the Western Kingdom, and Lord Edward Brown himself. To their horror, they discovered that Gorstag had been killed, and Lord Brown was there to arrest Ragnar and Matty.
