House Sweet of the Sweet Isle

House Sweet of the Sweet Isle was a noble house from the Motherlands. The Sweets ruled the Sweet Isle, an island off the coast of the Motherlands for many centuries, even for a period as petty kings. During the Years of Blood and Iron, House Sweet encountered a series of grave misfortunes which spelled the ruin of their house. 

Shahanshah-consort and Grand Vizier Samwell Sweet led the governments of Pelegon II and Pelegon III, becoming the de facto leader of the Legitimists. All of his children and siblings died in battle during the Years of Blood and Iron and he was executed by the order of Deshna I after her coup. Following his death, lordship of the Sweet Isle passed to his niece Unknown. Unknown was insane and cruel, and she infamously destroyed the Sweet Isle in a mysterious magical accident known as the Fall of the Sweet Isle, which left the island a ruin, said to be cursed and evil. With her died the last of the Sweets, rendering their line extinct.
