Lord Samwell Sweet, called Sour Sam, was the Lord of the Sweet Isle and head of House Sweet during the Years of Blood and Iron. He was the Shahanshah-consort to Sirdas I and became the chief advisor and Grand Vizier of his son Pelegon II and his grandson Pelegon III. During the reigns of his incompetent son and sottish grandson, Lord Samwell was widely regarded as the power behind the throne.
Lord Samwell was killed during the Zottyan Conspiracy.
