Prince Abbos Odios Pelegon was the third child of Sirdas I.  He became regent for the young Shahanshah Pelegon V for a time. Abbos was a master of manipulation and strategy and had maneuvered his way to being the de facto leader of his brother's faction during the civil war known as the Years of Blood and Iron. For the early years of Pelegon V's reign, the Shahanshah ruled as a puppet for Abbos, who held the real authority as Regent and Lord Protector. Abbos was deposed by the councilof, which selected Unknown to reign to avoid a contentious regency. After this loss, Abbos attempted to influence the new Shahanshah, but was ignored, eventually fading into obscurity.
