Prince Abbos Pelegon was the third child of Sirdas I.  He became regent for the young Shahanshah Pelegon V for a time. Abbos was a master of manipulation and strategy and had maneuvered his way to being the de facto leader of his brother's faction during the civil war known as the Years of Blood and Iron. For the early years of Pelegon V's reign, the Shahanshah ruled as a puppet for Abbos, who held the real authority as Grand Vizier of Pelegon. After Pelegon V's death, the new Shahanshah Odyssa I removed him from her council and exiled him back to Archoria. She famously, and coldly, told him “you are the King-consort of the Arcazon, and it is past time that you returned to your lands.” Abbos would spend much of the rest of his life brooding and scheming in Archoria.
