Deshna I Odios Pelegon, also called Deshna the Daring was the seventeenth Shahanshah. Deshna ascended to the Golden Falcon Throne at the young age of sixteen following the death of her mother, Zottyah III, in childbirth. Uninterested in governance, the adventurous Deshna left the governance of the realm to her Imperial Conclave and spent the first year of her reign on campaign in the Ba'hram Desert and feasting, indeed, she had not even been present in the Empire when her mother died, prompting her council to govern in her stead until she returned from one of her many voyages and was informed of her ascension to the throne. In V 242, she departed on an expedition to plunder the leendary riches of the Shadowfell. She was never heard from again, and in V 243 she was declared dead by her council and succeeded by her uncle Odios I. A lifelong bachelor, it was known gossip in court that Deshna and Lord Alydi Goodfellow were each other's Paramours.
