The Coronation of Pelegon I occurred on New Year's Day of what would be the first year of the Fifth Age. Pelegon I was crowned with the Crown of the Pillars in the city of Canithi by Lord Beldzar Rochis. The ceremony was attended by many of his newly vassalized lords, priests of his new faith, and thousands of smallfolk.

The ceremony began with a great parade where Pelegon I rode a chariot through the streets of Canithi before a massive crowd, alongside large paintings of the various lands of his new Imperium. Behind the Shahanshah rode the monarchs who he had vassalized in their full royal regalia. When he took his place at the great throne atop a constructed platform, the monarchs laid their crowns upon the ground and kissed the ground beneath Prophet’s feet.
