Drilek-tol was a major city in Siaat. Located near the border of the Great Draconic Swamp and Dasurkat and the northern Free Cities.
Its name came from the Draconic for "Trade Town," and the city was indeed a nexus of trade. Specifically, it was a nexus of the slave trade and was seen as a pinnacle of the practice. This led it to be called "the City of Chains," by many, a name which its ruling house, House Lidayvish, accepted with pride.
Drilek-tol was destroyed with a magical device of mass destruction by Pelegon I during the Destruction of Drilek-tol. The Shahanshah ordered that the spot where the city had been would remain a ruin, as a reminder to slavers and others who would challenge his reign.
