Nickit Cravenclaw

Arch-Warlock

Born with a promise of gran-grand destiny before him, Nickit is counted among those called the Gray Seers, rats with vile and perfidious gifts of magic and horns in the image of the fiendish diety, the Great Horned Rat. However, unlike others of his order, Nickit was not at all drawn to the pursuit of the arcane knowledge, for he found fondness in things he could bend to his will through his hands and intellect alone. Thus he studied not only the Lore of Ruin, but also the devious creations of the Clans Skryre and also those of the Clans Moulder. There was a cold calculation behind his ambition, for he knew, deep inside, that maybe, just perhaps, he was not destined to be the most powerful Skaven grey seer to ever exist. This insight, unique among his kin, led to a new strategy, one in which his preference for crafts was joined with his magics. Through combination of knowledge, he would be indispensable. Mighty. And one day, leader of his own clan.

In time he found his place at the clan Blightclaw, where he rose in power, though his unorthodox methods were time and time again obstructed by some of the clans underlings, some he ruined, some evaded his reach, especially the one called Snotsqueek. No matter, thought the inner workings of the clan were against him, his worth was great and when Vermindoom struck, he was already the supreme commander of Skryre machinery of the clan, though he still was not admitted into the inner circle of the clan. No matter. It was his creations that razed and burned the Ravaged Coast (and maybe accidentally created the future bane of the clan).

Yet the victory of the clan was short-lived, as the green tide swept over them, decimating any and all and not even his vile creations could stop the cruel viciousness of the orruks. He retreated. And he was captured. But of course, he was not in the inner circle for the planning. Had he been in charge, All of Ravaged Coast would still be claimed by the Great Horned Rat. Was this what saved his life? He did not know, though he is certain his assessment is correct. Happily he received his new task, uni still he found out, who was to be his co-leader. That vermin-useless-bureaucrat who obstructed his rise and who mindlessly let others die just so he could fail (first part Nickit doesn't mind, but the loosing he was irritated by for of course he would never loose).

No matter, for now, this humiliation will have to stand. If they fail, they both die. Both have their mission. They dont know what the other has to achieve, but only though success of both, do the have a chance to live. Instil then, no knife in the back of the Red Rat. But once that is done, all will know who truly lead the Clan Spitscreech to victory. And by the the Horns of the Rat it won't be Snotsqueek.
