Gregorious was a master smith and alchemist that specialized in restorative potions and traps of all sorts. He owed master Hanro Summers a favor, which the old master transferred to the party as a reward for assisting the city of Briskwater in its time of need. The party used this favor to help Balogun Tarr to regrow his missing fingers.
Gregorious appeared as a surly gnome with colorful butterfly wings that changed color depending on his mood. A crooked nose that was always running dominated his face.
Brief history
According to Gregorious himself, he predated the Calamity and experienced it first hand. He also revealed that he was put into the world with a single, strong destination: to find a cure for baldness. He had mastered the craft of alchemy as a result.
He frequently traded with The Farwalkers, exchanging alchemical bases and kits in exchange for dragon scales. He also mentioned that Tricks and Sparrow frequently exchanged special gems from the Undertunnels with him, among other minor trades, though of late Sparrow had refused to fetch gems out of fear for what was stirring below the surface.
Familiar servants
Gregorious were also accompanied by flocks of bumblebee familiars that attended to his quarters in Witherbark - the sentient home that he lived in. Among his named familiars were Elizabeth, a housekeeping bumblebee, Lisbeth, a gardener, Mark, a napkin-specialist, and Hematis, who assisted with crafting of various sorts.
Witherbark
Witherbark was magically grown and existed in a place between the material realm and the realm of twilight. It was a sentient home that had several magical qualities - including the ability to grant visitors faerie wings if they stayed long enough. Witherbark blessed The Shining Star that Mirasol crafted, enabling it to briefly restore an entity to it's previous state by turning back time.
